A RARE COLLECTION OF VICTORIAN NAPKIN RINGS and ICE FISHING DECOYS WILL BE HIGHLIGHTED AT
THE FLAGSTAFF SUMMER SHOWCASE
Nostalgia is in these days!! Maybe it’s because of the fast-paced lives we all live in today or the hope and desire for days gone by, people are in search pieces of the past to grace their homes. From Brides bowls to Victorian Napkin Rings, people are seeking out these vintage pieces of the past.
Figural napkin rings were created to help keep track of each individuals napkin, since the napkins were used several times before washing. Given to most when they were a child, many of the figures accompanying them were of animals, people (like children climbing a ladder) or other objects and often bearing the initials or names of the original user.
Victorian Figural Napkin Rings dated from 1867-1890 will be showcased at the 24th Annual Arizona Antique Show’s Flagstaff Summer Showcase this July 10-11-12. There are very few distributors for these pieces as most are now owned in private collections.
Also showcased will be turn of the century hand-carved Ice Fishing Decoys. Rare and from the Great Lakes Region.
The Phoenix Antique Market is nationally known as a “Buyers” market, offering wholesale and near wholesale pricing to all. Regional antique shop owners, mall booth owners and serious collectors can enhance their collection as well with fabulous pricing being offered at this show.
Exhibitors from throughout the region will be displaying and selling a wide variety of antiques and collectibles including European, Victorian and early American antiques, collectibles, jewelry, pottery, glass, locks, furniture, western antiques and collectibles, Native American artifacts, rugs, Kachinas, art, jewelry and much more.
Antiques make great gifts too! For those who are hard to buy for or those who like one of-a-kinds, there's something for everyone in every price range.
